Malindi was born on 12th June 2019. A beautiful filly with a superb frame and topline and cadenced elastic movement. Carrying exceptionally valuable bloodlines for sport and breeding.
Malindi was selected for the Elite Foal Auction held at the BD Nationals at Stoneleigh Park, I am sure that will be the first of many visits to the championships for her. Her sire Marc Cain was selected for the fabulous movement he passes onto his foals, and for his own incredible talent which is already well on the road to eventual Grand Prix success.
Malindi’s sire Marc Cain stands in Germany at Gestut Sprehe. As a three year old he was the Vice-Bundeschampion, scoring 9s for type, trot and canter, and a 10 and 9.5 for the test rider. As a six year old he was selected for the World Championships at Ermelo, qualifying for the final and continues his training with the Australian international rider Simone Pearce. He was the sire of the top priced foal at the 2018 Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction (110,000 Euros) and in 2019 his oldest foal crop is presented for stallion licensing with already a Premium son approved in Redefin.
Marc Cain is a son of the sensational sire Millennium who has made a massive impact on the Trakehner, Hanoverian and Oldenburg studbooks already out of a Don Primero daughter. Don Primero was a Grand Prix competitor who is best known in the UK as sire of leading sire Dimaggio.
Malindi is the second filly we have bred out of the multi studbook graded mare Trenda. Trenda’s dam is the Keur mare Glenda, a daughter of Ulft. Ulft was a successful competition horse, and besides the great Ferro, was also the sire of several other international dressage horses. Glenda is the only full sister of the legendary KWPN stallion Ferro.
