2007 Black Tobiano filly by Don Ricoss x Dee Dee G to mature 16.2hh
Delphi was born in the early hours of June 15th, a first filly for our stunning broodmare Dee Dee. Her arrival had been eagerly awaited as her sire Don Ricoss is one of the rising young stars of Hannover and carries some of our favourite bloodlines, particuarly Don Frederico, Consul and Weltmeyer.
Pictured above now at a year old, Delphi is a tall and striking filly with an abundance of quality. Her phenomenal pedigree, striking colour and fantastic conformation make her one of the most exciting foals we have bred to date.

Delphi's sire Don Ricoss is a stunning black Hanoverian stallion by the Celle State Stud stallion Don Frederico. This stunning black stallion in known for his incredible movement and is currently competing at Intermediare level. Don Ricoss's dam is a daughter of the legendary Weltmeyer, one of the most successful sires ever at Celle. Furthermore Don Ricoss's immediate dam line is responsible for the top sires Londonderry and Wallstreet Kid.
Don Ricoss was himself the winner of the dressage section of his 30 day test, scoring an incredible 9.75 for canter and 9.25 for trot from the test rider. He has qualified for the Bundeschampionate in both 2005 and 2006 and has made a winning start to 2007 at L level. He is currently on the short list for the 5yo Young Dressage Horse World Championships at Verden. His British bred foals have done exceptional well in the 2008 BEF Futurity, siring both the Champion and 3rd placed dressage foals at the BEF Championships.
Her dam, Dee Dee G, has unfortunatly been injured and so has returned to broodmare duties. She is a high quality mare combining size, substance and yet with thoroughbred refinement. Her sire Stanhopes Dueka is a HOYS Champion and her grandsire Diddicoy is a renowned sire of eventers and an FEI dressage horse himself. Dee's eldest son Bam Bam G is already a graded breeding stallion, and her sons Volatis Devlin and Volatis Defiant have both been awarded First Premiums by the BEF. Dee Dee is graded with both the BSPA and ZfDP.
